A Place for Pickled Produce

Guess what time it is? Well, we’ve made it through some of the major decisions, like where to hold the reception, the colors and the dress and the remaining big announcements are in the works, so…it’s time for details!

Michigan-pickled asparagus? With jalapenos? I have died and gone to heaven.
Now, normally details might be the boring part, but we hope that the details of the night are what will really bring the whole event together. There is so much we can do with our Michigan-made theme. The whole idea is ripe for becoming awesome tidbits of fun throughout the evening. Locally Grown Bridesmaid Advice

As it turns out, excellent wedding advice is another valuable local good that should be taken advantage of. The more formidable bridesmaid I know is my friend Stephanie who has been in something like 26 weddings. Or somewhere around that number.

The Shop Local Registry Quandary

We were surprised to find that several “what to do first” lists recommend getting registered way in the beginning of the wedding planning process. It’s odd to imagine picking out gifts for people to you bring to your wedding when you don’t know when or where the event may take place, but thinking about the concept of a registry brought up an interesting question:
